Hello everyone! I'm the Dorkizoid, aka the director behind the Turtle head fan remaster. I just wanna do a quick dev log to let you lovely people know what we have planned and some things you may see in future versions of  the game.

First things first, thank you so so soooo much Mr. Pikasprey for giving us this opportunity! A big part of early development has been just us freaking out about how we are gonna get a well established internet personality to trust a group of teenagers on the internet with his game. We were really expecting him to say no and be weirded out or something when we suggested the idea.  But he responded better than we could've ever expected!  We greatly appreciate the livestream and feedback, seriously! I know I said thank you a million times over, but I can't overstate how much we appreciate it. Same goes to all the other lets players who gave our little demo a moment in the spotlight! We fully appreciate it and it really gives us motivation to keep going <3 Please send us any lets plays you make!

Next I wanna talk about Emma! Pikasprey said it himself in his stream, most people who played the game disliked Emma. And we felt the same, because she put you in a deadly situation and did nothing about it. I will not spoil, but there was a part in the original that you have the option to either leave her behind or save her. And through all my playthroughs with the devs, they all decided to leave her behind initially. So we want to completely revamp her purpose in game! She is your support character now!

She will offer you advice if you need it depending on what items are in your inventory. She will also have a lot of dialogue options if you ask her what's on her mind.  She will have a new list of original dialogue she can say every time you do a couple of tasks so, hopefully It keeps it fresh!

Next thing we plan on adding is an additional mode! After you beat the game, you unlock what we are calling "Hard Mode" as a beta name. In this additional mode,  we will be exercising a  bit more creative freedom. The main game will be a primarily faithful remake, but Hard Mode will have quite a bit of changes. If you'd like a comparison I can say its akin to the hard game option in the Witch's House MV. There will be new puzzles, new areas, additional story, it basically just expands on the base game. In this version, you will be experiencing the events through Emma. The main game focuses on the horrific events that took place at the school. Hard mode will focus on the characters reactions to the events, more specifically Emma and Harriet. You'll learn more about  them as characters and their relationship.  We are still going to keep the story simple, we just wanna give the story a new perspective! We can't say all too much right now, because we wanna keep it a surprise!

I also wanna touch on some changes to the endings of the base game. I will not spoil too much, but I will say that in the original, all endings are triggered by going through a specific door. We plan to keep it that way, but we wanna have it so that different endings happen depending on when you exit through the doors. There will be 5 endings in total. Three of the original endings will remain, Coward, Into the Night, and Truth.  They will be largely unchanged. But depending on when you go through the doors, you can trigger either ending Traitor or Paranoia. If you played the original and want a frame of reference of when they can be triggered,  Traitor can occur just before Coward. And Paranoia can occur just after the turning point of the game, between coward and Into the Night.  I will not spoil the contents of each ending though, and it must be seen for yourself! Each ending will be accompanied by a painting by dev Andy. He made the game over screen if you want an idea of his style.

Finally I wanna talk about the audio. We are aware that the audio has been a problem for most people playing the game. The mixing can be improved greatly. I'm honestly so embarrassed I released the game like that aha, I didn't realize how big of a problem it was until I started seeing playthroughs. My computer speakers are kind of crappy, so its hard to tell what sounds good and what doesn't. The game sounded just fine on my pc when I tested it, but it's rather poor quality for the rest of you. If any of you all have any experience with audio mixing, we appreciate any advice you can give us!  We really don't want such a glaring problem in the final version of our game.

To wrap up here, I wanna thank everyone for such an incredible response to our little game here! Its so much better than what we could have ever hoped for, and we are all inspired to make a game you're satisfied with. This project is being made as fun, and getting feedback from everyone has made the past few months so worth it! We are talking about having dev streams in the future to interact with everyone more directly and maybe video QNAs as well. We hope you stick with us through development and thank you for taking the time to read my ramblings!

Lovely. I did expect you all to improve a lot on the detail. By the way, put your own self out there! Like putting your social media on the tag. People needs to know you all.

Thank you :) Also we put our social medias on the front page recently if you were looking for them!

Will do!
